Remembering Andy

We are grieving with all Andy’s family and friends his disappearance and his death. My cousin’s husband, Andy was one of the few people who was genuinely interested in my immigration work and my clients’ lives. At my last encounter with Andy at a family gathering, I worried that his compassion for my clients’ struggles seemed to affect him deeply, almost personally. I will always remember how excited Andy was when he married Louise to have family with whom to sing Christmas carols.  And how fun family celebrations were with Andy.
