Danny Greene, CRC, St.Louis, NJT & Jim Hensen

My threads…my threads to Andy.  I went to high school with Danny Greene and when I moved to St. Louis Danny said I have to meet his friend Andy.  I have a degree in theatre performance, was in a production at the New Jewish Theater and was a member at CRC.  I LOVE Jim Hensen.   What I loved about being with Andy is that we could believe in whatever we wanted.  We could let our imaginations run wild and free.
We believed in the world of the Skeksis and Mystics that Jim Hensen created in the Dark Crystal.  We identified as being Gelfling, he Jen and I Kira.  I would brag because I had wings and could fly, which was a power only girls had.   In the Dark Crystal, a shard splits from the Crystal, shattering its wholeness creating good and evil, light and darkness, Skesis and Mystics.  The Crystal was healed when the shard was returned in a dramatic scene right before the great conjunction of the three moons.  The Crystal was healed but the skesis and mystics could no longer exist as separate souls of good and evil.  They had to unite as one whole and were shot up to heaven, removed from the mortal  and physical world.   Andy, is that what happened?  Is that how the story went?
Andy, thank you for letting my imagination run wild and free with you.  Thank you for gracing us with your beauty.  Thank you for sharing your brilliance.  I will carry you with me in my heart mind, and soul for the rest of  my time on earth until it’s my turn to be made whole and can fly high as a g-ly soul and meet you once again to frolic free from the mortal burdens.
