Andy and I worked together in a Shakespeare touring troupe called the Shenandoah Shakespeare Express in 1997. We were on the road together for a year. He was Puck to my Oberon in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” (pictured) Andy was so brilliant and he had a marvelous and quirky sense of humor. He was such a great observer of human behavior and he always had some great advice for me. We grew very close and would often sit on the porch in Harrisonburg, Virginia and talk for hours about acting, theatre, cooking, single malt scotch, travel, psychology, philosophy, and life. There was never a dull moment with Andy. Though it has been many years since I’ve seen him in person, we kept in contact with each other through Facebook. I had actually planned on visiting him in St. Louis this summer. You will be greatly missed Andy. May you rest in eternal peace now. My prayers go out to your family and other friends.
